Dedicated race fans got an early start to the American Independence holiday weekend as Outback Speedway hosted a Wednesday night money race event. It was a great night for those looking to a get s jump on their holiday race weekend. To day it was a huge night for Hughes Motorsports would be an understatement as kart #14 won 4 out of 8 main events. Mike Hughes would power away and sweep Clone Lite, Medium, and Heavy. Blayne Nix would take the checkered for his first ever Junior 1 win and also get the win for Junior 2. The Predator classes also had the same name out front as Van Culbertson drove the #12 to wins in both Medium and Heavy. Outback Speedway can be found at 5532 Greenpond Road in Gray Court, South Carolina.
