Cisneros, Lambert claim Hat Trick as temps/lap times plummet

A rare feat was accomplished on Friday Night at Foothills Raceway as not one but two drivers recorded hat trick wins in Clone and Predator.The New Years Resolution Resolution, which had already been postponed once due to rain, was slated to run on a Friday night before the inclement weather would arrive. Drivers and crews anxious to get any racing in on the weekend, rolled in to Foothills with $500 on the line in Clone 375. One entry count topped out at 122 with a few late entries into other classes here and there. Three Clone classes had the largest fields of the night with Clone 375 at 16, Clone 350 at 16, and Clone 325 at 16 as well. Once the sun dropped off to the west, the temperatures began to drop rapidly but the speeds began to pick up.

Quick Hits

Two drivers claimed the headlines at the end of the night. Blake Cisneros pulled the Clone Hat Trick sweeping through 375, 350, and 325 collecting a hefty pay day to boot. Coby Lambert swept through for the Predator Hat Trick in 375, 350, and 325. Cisenros also ran the fastest time of the night in any class laying down a 10.497 in his Clone 325 main. Other strong nights would include Christian Henson jumping on the #52 and piloting it to wins in Clone 425 and Clone 410 beating out Brady Whitehead who finished 2nd in both. Coletrain Palmer pulled off another Junior double in the 2 and 3 main events. Palmer and Brayson Riddle had a duel down to the wire in Junior 2 with a .167 second victory going to Palmer. Ross Doolittle also took home an Out of the Box double in 375 and 325 but had to wait slightly longer to get it as Nikki Brubaker who initially won OTB 375 was disqualified. Doolittle drove away from the field in 325 to lock up the OTB double.
